Today's film industry has at its disposal technical innovations that few imagined decades ago. Despite this, directors have always taken advantage of the technical resources at their disposal to capture their stories, visions and imagined worlds.

Sala Montjuïc said goodbye to this season with an offer that no one could refuse. The offer came in the form of a surprise film, "The Godfather Part II" (1974, Francis Ford Coppola).

Last Thursday, our school was transformed into a real tropical island to celebrate the end of the year with a Hawaiian themed party full of color, music and joy.

Students, alumnix, teachers and staff shared an unforgettable night with contests, games, dances and, above all, lots of laughter. It was a perfect occasion to close the academic year celebrating everything learned, lived and shared in FX.

Thanks to all who joined in with so much energy and creative spirit. We are left with the memory of a united community, passionate and eager to continue creating.

Next Thursday, June 12, we celebrate the end of the year with a very special night for our FX community.

An occasion to meet again, to toast to all that we have experienced during the year and welcome a new stage with joy, music and lots of creativity.

At FX Barcelona Film School we not only train creative talent, we also accompany them in their transition to the professional world. That's why, this Friday May 30, we organize the workshop "From FX to the job market", an activity aimed especially at students who are finishing their studies and want to prepare to take their first steps in the industry.

During this session, key tools and strategies will be addressed to confidently face the challenges of the work environment in the sectors of film, animation, video games, digital arts and more.

This Thursday, May 16 we celebrate a new edition of the Job Fair FX Barcelona Film School, the annual event that connects our final year students and alumniX with leading companies in the audiovisual, film, animation, VFX, videogames and acting sectors.

The Job Fair is one of the milestones of the academic calendar. It allows students to present their reels, portfolios and projects directly to industry professionals, and companies to discover emerging profiles with technical backgrounds and creative vision.
