Masterclasses de Goya y grandes consejos en la presentación de nuestros nuevos másteres

Masterclasses of Goya and great tips on presenting our new master's degrees.

On the occasion of the presentation of our new film master's degrees, last Thursday, June 2nd, at FX ANIMATION, we had the visit of two incredible professionals from the world of audiovisual production: Albert Espelt, executive producer and winner of the Goya 2022 for best production direction for Mediterráneo; and the three-time Oscar nominee, known for his work in films like El hoyo and In a Better World, David Matamoros.

Both film industry personalities treated us to an afternoon of masterclasses full of reflections and knowledge. From how to kick off an idea, starting with the initial script, to its final projection on the big screen; to the essential keys to launching any audiovisual project through talent and perseverance. All this, sharing with us their experiences in the industry, and offering our students their best advice to start their path in the field.

FX's new film master's degrees

Espelt and Matamoros shared the spotlight with our two new courses, presented by the film producer and director, teacher, and master's program manager at FX, Fabricio d’Alessandro:

  • Advanced Master's in Audiovisual Production and Entertainment. A two-year master's degree where you will learn how to put in place the necessary elements for the production and coordination of all factors required for the development of an audiovisual project, covering creative, financial, and technical aspects.
  • Advanced Master's in Art Direction. Two years of training where you will delve deep into the techniques of visual language, from its design to execution.

The voice of experience

Try to know about everything, because that will help you make better decisions, said Espelt, and it's true. Receiving training knowing each and every branch that integrates the industry is essential if we want to pursue this. That's why at FX, we are known for imparting our own methodology based on transversality.

If you are interested in receiving more information about our courses or how our school operates, do not hesitate to contact us. And as David Matamoros says, “the only way to launch a project is through passion (...) If you have a passion, a dream, a story to tell, something you want; DO IT.
