You don't need a previous degree to start

At FX Barcelona Film School we believe in talent and passion. It doesn't matter if you haven't completed high school or the university entrance exam; what matters here is your willingness to learn and grow in the world of digital arts. If you are over 18 years old and want to make 3D animation, video games, or VFX your profession, this degree is for you.

A 4-year degree with specialization

Our program is designed for you to learn the foundations of digital arts and become an expert in the film and entertainment industry.

1st and 2nd academic year: you will learn the basics of digital arts with the most advanced VFX, 3D animation, and video game techniques and software, while also gaining knowledge of film production. You will have a foundation in cinema and participate in film shoots for cross-disciplinary projects.

During these first two academic years, we will guide you in developing your talent so you can choose your specialization wisely.

3rd and 4th academic year: you will be able to choose a professional specialization, focusing on what you are truly passionate about: VFX, 3D character animation, or 3D art for video games.

Guaranteed internships at companies: during your final academic year, you will have your first contact with the professional world through internships in companies, based on the specialization you have chosen.

Tutored final project: at the end of the final academic year, you will work on your individual final project, tutored by professors, which along with your demo reel, will be your presentation to the industry.

AlumniX Program: for life and free of charge, you will have professional support and guidance from the graduates program, being able to access the international job market whenever needed.

Upon completion of your training, you will leave with a professional demo reel/portfolio that will open doors in the job market.
