For this reason, our film students learn early on how to prepare a good pitch and present their audiovisual projects. However, do you know what pitching is? In this post we tell you and show you how to prepare them at FX Barcelona Film School.
Pitching: how to attract investment or sell your audiovisual project
Pitching is a term that comes from "sales pitch" or "sales pitch". It is the brief presentation of an idea for a film or television series by the scriptwriter or director of the project.
Although it is characterized by its brevity (between 5-10 minutes), the aim is to show the full potential of the idea, i.e.: that the project could be developed successfully. For this reason, it is key to have palpable information, such as synopsis, budget estimation and even possible cast, scenarios, etc.
