This training is aimed at professionals in architectural visualization with demonstrable previous knowledge in static render creation who are looking to expand their knowledge and job opportunities by mastering the development of virtual reality experiences with Unreal Engine.
In the Master's program, advanced visual techniques are explored to enhance the graphic quality of virtual environments, such as color correction, lens effects, depth of field, motion blur, ambient occlusion, and reflections on the screen space. The program also covers particles, global illumination, and post-production materials to achieve professional visual results. Students will learn how to handle cameras within Unreal Engine, create simple animations with the Level Sequencer, work with multiple cameras, render videos, and use advanced tools such as curve editor and CineCamera. Additionally, techniques for integrating cinematics and visual aids to enhance interactive narrative are taught, and the use of Blueprints is introduced to create interactions within the virtual environment: triggering events, controlling characters, building interactive menus (UMG), generating events by looking at objects, and much more.
Furthermore, imported animations, 360º cameras, and video playback in the 3D environment are integrated. Upon completion, students will be equipped to develop immersive experiences in virtual reality, integrating visual quality, interactive narrative, and usability.
