That was the Stage 2024 experience
This edition of the Stage has been an experience that all students of FX Barcelona Film School who participated will remember, and we must thank all the companies that opened their doors to us, your confidence and enthusiasm have been key for our students.
Exploring the doors of the audiovisual industry
From May 8 to 12, final year students in the areas of visual effects, compositing, and concept art have been able to enjoy the latest edition of Stage, an experience organized with the aim of visiting the leading companies in the audiovisual sector.
During their stay in London, students visited seven companies, Framestore, Cinesite, ILM, MPC, DNEG, Jellyfish, and One of Us, located in the city center, where they could learn about the work processes they follow, what profiles they are looking for, and what internship programs they offer for recent graduates or final year students, so they can start their careers in the sector as interns.
Forging connections with alumniX
In addition to being able to learn about the work processes in major companies in the audiovisual sector, participants in this edition of Stage have been able to establish connections and enjoy a networking day in a pub with alumniX from FX Barcelona Film School, who are actively working in the industry.
Stage 2024 has left an indelible mark on our students, who are now better prepared to face the challenges of the audiovisual industry job market. We deeply appreciate all the collaborating companies for opening their doors to us and sharing their knowledge. With these enriching experiences, our students are ready to reach new heights in their careers.
