The school's artists exhibit for the first time
When we opened the doors of the school, we did so with the firm conviction of training digital artists, in a commitment to putting the most advanced technology at the service of art. Eight years later, we are proud to present the first 3D art exhibition: DDD-art, Digital Metamorphosis, a selection of the best works from our students, from the areas of Photography and 3D Design and Architecture and Interior Design. The exhibition was inaugurated on September 16th and can be visited at the Sant Agustí Civic Center in Barcelona until September 28th, coinciding with the Festes de la Mercè.
DDD-art offers a window into the world of 3D, inviting reflection on technological advances in the world of design. The exhibition explores the most impactful works of students who have passed through FX ANIMATION, digital artists who have applied 3D - or the art of generating computer images - to photography and graphic design; to interior design and architecture; or to character creation for animation or video games, among other disciplines. The Noble Hall of the Sant Agustí Civic Center thus becomes a platform for the exhibition of technological avant-garde, welcoming impossible images that evoke an unreality increasingly within our reach, thanks to specialized training in the art of 3D, a discipline increasingly valued in advertising, cinema and television, architecture, and even science.
The exhibition consists of 17 works created by students in the Photography and 3D Design area, related to advertising and creativity, and 10 images worked on by students in Architecture and Interior Design in 3D, focused on the most avant-garde architecture, images as realistic as those that a camera could capture.
Do you want to see the rest of the exhibition?
